Being either single or in a relationship can have both advantages and disadvantages. It is one’s choice to choose to either procrastinate or be happy and enjoy every moment in life. After all, everything happens for a reason, and things will fall into place at the right time.
A single person need not be in a relationship to be happy. Forcing to be in one can only make you feel happy initially, but will drift apart as time goes by. Being single gives one the opportunity to be independent and free from any stress. Some of the reasons for one to enjoy being single are as follows:
Singlehood allows you to make time to create a better version of yourself.
This is the time for one to build weak areas of one’s persona. For instance, a woman to spend time striving to reach her ideal body weight.
Singlehood gives you independence.
This is the time for you to do all the crazy to-do list you wanted to do, but could not because you had to “check-in” and “check-out” when you were in a relationship.
How to Be Happy Being Single
Singlehood allows you to develop new skills and hobbies.
With more time, boredom may strike. Because of this, you have more time to develop a new hobby, or learn something new, such as a second language.
Singlehood allows you to enjoy the company of friends more often.
Going on girls’ night out and hanging out with male friends would not be a problem for single individuals.
It feels great to be in a relationship, but being single can also make you feel good. This is possible if you look at the brighter side of it. Life is short, enjoy every single moment, and make it last. Spend singlehood towards self-improvement so that when the right one comes along, you are better than you were yesterday!
