Sunday night, March 4, the glitterati of entertainment will gather at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. The occasion: The awarding of the 90th Annual Academy Awards, presented by The American Academy of Arts and Sciences. It is the night of nights for the industry, as well as movie buffs around the world. Last year, Gildshire began a new tradition. We predicted the winners in all of the major categories, but we went a step beyond. We also listed who we thought SHOULD win, in addition to who would win. Were we right about the winners? Most of the time. Were there happy surprises? One or two. Unhappy surprises? It wouldn’t be Oscar night without at least one. So, what will happen Sunday night? Will the presenter announce the right Best Picture winner? Probably, but if not we will be amused with you. Here now, the Gildshire 2018 Academy Award Guide.
