Makeup Tutorial Tips
Do you have a frustrating time with putting on your makeup? Or, do you just want some new tips to try out? Then you should give some or all of the following a try! You just might learn something that you implement into your makeup routine all of the time.
Beforehand Care
Do you wear moisturizer? If so, you should give it a little while to sink in prior to applying your makeup. This will help it to go on a bit easier.
Hide Your Dark Circles
If you are looking to hide dark circles, you should only use some concealer in the areas that you need it, like where you have under-eye circles. It is a good idea to use a creamy formula for this in a shade that matches up to your skin tone well. Use a pointed concealer brush to apply some small stripes, then blend it together with your ring finger to make it look soft and natural. Be sure that you do not tug on the areas that are delicate.
Apply Blush
Cream blush is an excellent alternative to powder blush. It gives the appearance that you are glowing from within. First, you would put it on the apples of your cheeks. If you are uncertain about the color you want, start with something in a natural shade that goes along with the hues of your skin. Layer it gradually if you are looking for a more bold effect, then you’re ready to go.
Definition
Looking for more intensity with your eyeshadow? Then use a brown liner pencil to create a rim on your upper lash lines. After, take a shadow brush and smudge in an upward direction. Top it off with powder eyeshadow of your choice and two coats of mascara.
More Eye Makeup Tips
Another way to get intense eyeshadow is to dip the brush into water before you start to apply it.
If you wear glasses and are nearsighted, your eyes can look especially small. You should go for eyeshadow that is brighter in color to give your eyes that extra pop and make them really stand out.
Use petroleum jelly on your eyelashes before you go to sleep. This way, they will remain smooth for longer.
