Royal Cinque Ports is a Championship golf course that is located in the south east corner of England in a belt of land that also includes the fabulous St Georges golf course.
Wide, rolling fairways and some of the worlds best greens make for an enjoyable day at Royal Cinque Ports.
Some of the most memorable holes at the course have to be the par 5 fifth, which at 601 yards and well protected bunkers require not only good shot making but length. The green is treacherous and anything past the flag will leave a very slick putt.
The best hole on the course, in fact it is one of Henry Cotton´s best 18 holes in England. You need to hit your best drive on this hole to carry the fairway bunker and a chance to get on in two.
The approach to the green is tough, undulating, small and elevated finding it is a real test. Finish with a four and you will be more than happy.
