Technology has become a big part of our lives. Companies like Apple, Sony, and Samsung are constantly developing the most advanced and unique pieces of technology, and we all run out to get our hands on whatever we can afford. From gaming to fitness to music, technology infiltrates every area of society. What new and awesome gadget can we look forward to? Here are 6 of the coolest pieces of tech that are coming soon:
1. Bendable phones
Do you love flipping through the pages in a book? If so, you will love the new bendable displays that Samsung will be ruling out very soon. The incredibly-flexible screens will provide better control during gaming, and allow you to “turn” pages while you read.
2. Oculus Rift virtual reality
The future is here. If you’ve been paying attention to the tech world, you’ve no doubt read about Oculus Rift, an advanced virtual reality headset. When it comes out, you’ll be able to totally immerse yourself in games, and eventually movies, concerts, and social media.
3. Livescribe Echo smartpen
This device is actually already available, so if you love the sound of it, you can go out and get one right now! The smartpen can hold up to 200 hours of recorded audio that you can transcribe just by plugging it in. You can also actually physically write thousands of pages of notes with the pen on Livescribe Dot paper, and everything you write will be recorded on the pen, too.
4. New Fitbits
The Fitbits in the close future will challenge the competition with enhanced trackers, including blood pressure, stress, and stats. They will also have better coaching, so you can get a completely-personalized helper right on your wrist.
5. Bragi wireless earbuds
The Bragi Dash was born on Kickstarter, and is just starting to roll out. These are the first truly wireless earbuds complete with fitness tracker, motion commands, and the ability to listen to music. You can answer a phone call with just a nod and control the earbuds with other subtle gestures.
6. DietSensor calorie counter
If you’ve ever looked at a piece of food and wanted to know how many calories it contained, this is the gadget for you. You scan a single piece of food, like a slice of cheese, and calculates the calories. While you can’t scan whole meals yet, the company plans on adding more and more foods as time goes on.
