Are you planning on an outing with your partner or with the ladies? Regardless of where you go and who you are with, it’s ideal to find a signature nighttime look that you adore. See if any of the following tips work for you, to implement the next time you go out!
Gloss It Up
Who would have thought that reflective eyelids could be so hot? You can use some clear lip balm (non-stick only) or petroleum jelly over your eyelids to give them some shine. If you want something a bit soft and romantic, a very light pink gloss works wonders.
The cat-eye is a highly valued look for the eyes. It can be as bold and dramatic, and you want it to be. At the roots of your lashes use a large amount of eyeliner. Then, you will want to create a “wing effect” when you move out to the outer corners of your eyes. This looks great with pencil only and with some mascara though it also is attractive when you add in eyeshadow.
Glitter can be quite classy if you take care of it and know what you are doing. Put it in a strategic spot, such as a glitter shadow in the center of your eyelids or do a thin rim of eyeliner. You will give off a fun yet elegant vibe, all at the same time.
Splash of Color
You should have bold color on your lips, such as a ruby red, or maybe a coral or wine. This is paired excellently with sharp brows. You can give them a strong look by filling them in with a pencil that is only a bit lighter than the shade of your brows. Make sure that whatever you use for this is hard and waxy, rather than like eyeliner.
Minimize and Maximize
Unless you are going for something that is really over-the-top dramatic, it’s best to focus on highlighting one or two features. If you have gorgeous eyes, make them pop with the right makeup. If you’re proud of your cheekbones, make them stand out by defining them with blush or bronzer.
Foundation and Primer Are Key
Even out your tone and keep your makeup from running by putting on foundation and primer. Just a few extra minutes in your routine can help you go from ordinary to amazing.
